Our drive from Calasparra to Granada was about 3 hours. So much of the landscape looked like Southern California.
On the way, we passed through this cute little town because we saw all these homes carved into the mountain, and wanted to find out what that was all about.
We didn’t stay long, because we wanted to get to Granada before dark, but we had a great meal in town and looked up some details about this strange but cute town in the middle of nowhere. Apparently, it has a museum due to all kinds of Neolithic artifacts that have been found nearby, but most importantly, we found that you could buy one of these cave houses for anywhere between 39,000-100,000 euro.
We agreed that some day we should come back and spend more time here.
